Lily Mixe is a graphic artist from Paris who moved to London and then to Margate on the Kent coast where she now lives and works. Lily creates artworks on paper, canvas, found objects and the surface of walls in the street.
Catching The Big Fish is a new body of artwork by Lily Mixe.
The work is an invitation to deep dive into a world of curiosity, slow down and dream.
Lily creates surreal spaces where objects and elements collide and grow. Figures float in sanctuaries and gardens fuelled by daydreams and fantasy.
The drawings are dream-catchers, maps, Talisman, totems. The artworks hold ideas, process emotions and make sense of the chaotic world we live in.
